Espinhosos 2011
White Wine | Regional Minho | 13.5% VOL
A remarkable year for this white wine from the Vinho Verde Region. Tropical fruit aromas accompany excellent minerality and complexity, a reflection of the blend of Chardonnay and the Avesso. The palate is fresh and fruity with a long finish. Aimed at the table.
The sunny weather and sun exposure contributed to a harvest in mid-September. The varieties were harvested by hand at Quinta dos Espinhosos and fermented in stainless steel vats.
Sustainable agricultural practices and a philosophy of minimal intervention in the cellar continue our tradition of making natural wines of terroir in the Vinho Verde region.
